Blood red dress

• Underdress has two-piece inset sleeves. There is the trim, embroidered with metallic threads and little beads, sewn to the neckline and to the seam between the narrow upper sleeve and the half-circle lower sleeve. The dress is closed back with hooks and eyes.
  
  
• Overdress is divided to 1 front piece, 1 back skirt piece and 2 back bodice pieces. Lined are only the back bodice pieces and the front piece in the same length as the back pieces. It is also closed back with hooks and eyes.
  
  

• For the underdress and for the lining of the overdress I used a black habotai,
  
• a blood red crepe-de-chine for the wide lower sleeves;
  
• a printed silk (a piece of an old tie) for upper sleeves and for trim of the overdress
  
• The trims of a dark rose habotai were embroidered with golden, multicolored metallic and black threads. I used the feathered chain stitch and the couching stitch, then I beaded them with smallest black and mauve beads.
  
• The overdress is made from  a black velvet.
